About the Speaker

Anita Dosaj is a teacher, writer, presenter, workshop facilitator, and keynote speaker. Her practical, dynamic, and humorous presentations focus on everyday issues related to curriculum, instruction and learning, leadership, technology, and change. As a director of the InfoSavvy Group, Dosaj speaks and consults throughout North America and internationally with education and business organizations. Her work addresses a variety of core issues including organizational change, leadership development, workplace communication practices, customer-relationship strategies, and the development of the information and media literacy skills necessary to cope with the information/communication age and information overload. As a scientist, an educator, and a woman born and raised in Kenya, schooled in Britain, and currently living in Canada, Dosaj offers a unique approach to the many philosophical and practical issues related to the implementation of effective change strategies in industrialized and developing nations. Dosaj completed a series of workshops on 21st-century pedagogy and curriculum from K-postsecondary education for pre- and in-service professional development in five countries in the Caribbean region. Dosaj completed her doctorate in educational technology and leadership from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California. She also holds a B.Sc. Hons. degree in molecular biology, a B.A. in education, and master's degree in curriculum and administration.
