About the Speaker
Elizabeth Hartnell-Young, a former school leader, is a researcher and writer with a particular interest in professional learning and the use of technologies. She is the author of Digital Portfolios (Corwin Press, 2006) and many articles for teachers. In 2004 she was national research manager in the Centre for Applied Educational Research at the University of Melbourne, Australia, and is now a research fellow at the University of Nottingham, U.K.
